Walking
Spring and autumn are the walking-seasons for a lot of people. And walking you can in Burgundy! There are more than 15 walking tours in the immediate surroundings of the Moulin, varying from a stroll after breakfast to day trips. And, if you stay for a whole week we offer you a walking tour in the Morvan nature park under the guidance of a forester who is working overthere.

Game dinners in Burgundy
From mid November until mid December 2007 there will be special midweek and weekend packages for enjoying varied game dinners at the Moulin.

Midweek price € 280 (Monday until Thursday, 4 nights, 4 times breakfast and 4 game dinners)

Weekend price € 200 (Friday until Sunday, 3 nights, 3 times breakfast, 3 game dinners)

Prices per person, excluding drinks, based on a double room.

Jazz-week
The famous jazz-week of Nevers takes place in November. Take a look at www.neversdjazz.com for the programme of this week. Moulin de la Guesne is a good spot to spend your nights if you are planning to visit the festival. We shall take care that you can have dinner at the Moulin and still arrive in time in Nevers. We can even take you to Nevers and pick you up again so that you can enjoy a drink at the festival.

Christmas and New Year's Eve
From the 22th of December 2007 until the 5th of January 2008 Moulin de la Guesne will be in holiday atmospheres. You can rent all rooms and the gîte for a week (both shorter and longer than a week is possible too!) for a family reunion or a party with friends. If you like, we will cook dinner  so that you will be able to spend your time reading books, going out for walks, playing games and enjoying being together. There is room for 15-20 people.
